Winter is a magical season and I love getting cozy and driving around in the snow 🙂 I’ve compiled a list of five of my must-have items to help prepare you for this winter. I love winter but sometimes you need to be a little more prepared for all the harshness the season can bring!
I cannot live without these items…
Ladies, we have GOT to keep our lips hydrated and soft! Winter can be so harsh on our skin and especially our lips. They dry out and even worse, crack! I love to use my Tarte Lip Rescue lipstick and lip balm in one, however, any chapstick or hydrating lipstick will do as well 🙂
Face & Body Moisturizer
Keeping your face and body moisturized during the winter months is crucial! To replenish dry and rough textured skin from the cold climate, I like to use ‘Luna Sleeping Night Oil’ before I go to bed. As an added bonus, it also helps with uneven texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and pores! For my body, I like to use 100% Aloe Vera Gel or Bum Bum Cream by Sol De Janeiro to even the texture of my skin.
This season isn’t for flats or sneakers unless it’s a super sunny day and even then, your toes will be frozen! Time to gear up for knee-high boots and ankle booties. I can’t leave my house without my bow-back boots, they are so adorable!
Winter is for cozy sweaters and peppermint tea. Just imagining all curled up in that combination sounds wonderful! For when I’m working at home, grocery shopping or just out having fun, sweaters are the perfect go-to top to make any scenario cozy and fashionable!
This follows along with the lip rescue I mentioned at the beginning of this post, it is essential to lock in moisture in your hair when it’s starting to dry out. For fine haired gals like me, I prefer to use a spray rather than a cream as it doesn’t weigh the hair down. If you have thicker hair, I would look for a cream that you can use in the shower.
What are your winter must-haves? What can you NOT live without? Any tips, please share them below!
